Pittstown, NJ | Tractor was acting like it was running out of fuel while baling straw. Shut it off for a few minutes, and it would start right back up and run for 10 minutes or so, then die again. Gradually slowed down, blew some gray smoke, and quit. I got a new fuel filter and changed that (old one was looking dirty), cleaned the sediment bowl, not much of anything in there, started it up, did the same thing, but I managed to get it the 1/4 mile to the shop. Now, I haven't bled the injectors yet, but I haven't had to bleed them when changing the fuel filter in the past. Could it be the dreaded plastic bits in the Roosa Master have failed? | |
