southeastern ohio | What brand is it? More than likely it is under a cover panel. Rheem comes to mind. It is a central air and not a window shaker (I hate those things, takes way to long the work on). If it is a central air it should have service valves some.. where. But if someone has been messing with it who knows. Add on valves.. Yes they do make saddle valves that you can bolt on and then pierce into line. the ones for the suction line (big one) are pricey, need to know o.d. of tubing. Problem with them is that they will leak sometime down the road.
My suggestion would be look under the back panel of unit or even inside at a-coil, I know York stuck some in there for some reason.
