I have a leak in my 4 year old Nordyne 5 ton package unit. Nobody can get the right coil, (evaoporator), and no one wants to attempt to try and repair the coil, because they say the copper is so thin on the newer units, that it melts like butter when you get a torch near it. Sooooooooo, I am having a new Carrier unit put in at a cost of $3500. Nobody wants to repair anymore just replace.
