| Any one else ever have this happen to them?My wife carries a hand held 2 way radio becasue she is an ambulance attendant / emt. Today while working on the farm she put her radio on the pickup seat while driving and the darn Nic/ Cad battery went up in flames near the bottom....it burned a hole right out of the battery's lower side. MAN AM I GLAD SHE DID NOT LEAVE IT IN THE HOUSE ON THE WALL SHELF!!!!!!!! It could have burned the house down!We would never have known what the fire was caused by! | |
