| Our Cat mechanic said he's got a guy with a chipped MT and everytime the tractor is started it throws a fault code, it doesn't cause any problems but it's going to show up on the computer so if a person knew what to look for it would might not be hard to find later. Our neighbor has a chip on an MX-285 which is the biggest in the series and he said with the chip on 30% it's extremely picky about fuel filters being clean or it will starve for fuel.
