We used to do exactly what you're talking about for cukes and melons. We did three beds at once with a skinny wheel tractor. We built our trimmer with implement hubs and 28" blades from agri-supply.

By the way Pokey. Let us know how the retrofit turbo-til works. I've been thinking of setting something up too.
