I will say it could affect the birth weight a little, but if the cows aren't over conditioned it shouldn't translate into more problems. If the cows are thin this is the best time to put condition on. Once the calf is born most of the extra groceries will go to milk. Now the fun part I hope the mineral is adjusted for the gluten, that could cause problems.
