Sow Cull Program To Be Implemented

Pork producers who are considering reducing their number of sows -- or getting out of the business all together -- are going to get some government help.
The federal government is announcing 50 million dollars to help reduce the country's breeding stock by 10 percent.

The program will be run by the Canadian Pork Council - with more details in how to apply - expected shortly
