Subject: Re: Ethanol plant suspended

Goff Kansas
city of topeka does not know what the hell they want.. don't know if has been dead a yr., for i think they formally announced it about a yr ago.. most plants don't have protests and such, and generally welcome the new growth.. like the one at Geffery Energy, just about 25 NW of topeka.. the only problem i hear with that one is the road width to the plant. i like that idea better, for they can share costs with the coal plant, but topeka had alot going for it.. huge grain supply, rail, and close to K C market. major misstep in my opinion, but maybe with the closure of the TYson plant in emporia, the distillers or what ever you call it might have had to been shipped a little farther and thus more costs.. I never read the article, but the first post said suspended. not shut down.. drawing board still there, just no one sitting at it at the moment..
