Red River Valley | SC in looking at your post on the outlook forum numbers you stated that feed use needed to be reduced 9.2% to make the USDA numbers work as I looked at the numbers it did look that corn for feed showed a reduction of 9.2% but they showed an increase in wheat feeding that should add about 100 mb equivalent and also one needs to remember that alot of sorghum left this country to Europe because of biotech issues that would be figured back into normal feed rations under the extra acres coming into production world wide then add in about 400 million bu. of ddgs feed equivalents along with the many products that feeders use to cut the ddgs with ( corn stocks, grass hay, straw,more silage that is used ) it looks to me that they have room to actually increase animal units on feed. looking for your thoughts. | |
