| More 2nd year corn here last year than I ever remember and we had a dry year so this year wheat up 10% corn off 12% and soybeans up 15%. Virtually no fall tillage on corn stalks last fall even though we had an opportunity. East central IN. Guys here like to raise beans and they compete well with corn production wise. A few guys were all beans 2 years ago due to high inputs were all corn last year and will be all beans this year, I think they have it figured out. Seed guys are scrambling to find beans and giving seed corn away kind of sounds like the reverse of last year. Short beans long corn sounds like a good trade to me. | |
