Subject: I think USDA Cotton estimate too high, not going to be that many acres!!



Southeast Missouri in the bootheel and northeast arkansas area.

Soft Wheat UP 200+% or more
Soybean Bout the same
Corn Bout the same as last year which was up a great deal
Cotton down by at least half maybe more


Every cotton buyer or marketer is saying the USDA cotton numbers are off by at least a million acres. maybe more. they are saying no less then 7.5 and really no more then 8.25 will be planted where the USDA is predicting 9.5. I hope they are right and not the USDA numbers. Can we say 1.25/lb cotton. I can see that in the very near future. Closed at almose 83 cents yesterday.
