Eastern Montana | We never have had a clutch failure on a feed truck. They got replaced because the transmission was out for another reason. A lot of the time I end up getting out with the pickup in first and low range to keep the bale coming apart with a pitchfork. Can't do that with an auto. Been a lot of other things that I have had to fix a night or take to town to get fixed. This year it was a water pump on a Powerstroke, takes special tools to get the fan loose. Called one dealer who had done work for us in the past, said he couldn't get to it for a week. Wouldn't try to fit me in sooner. Hauled it to another and had it done the next day. | |
