I think the county west of you is picking up a bit more on corn, but then have been behind the curve on planting corn compared to you guys. There are a lot of trditionalists over here who won't give up no wheat even if they had no place to go with it, ya can't graze corn or beans, ha. Co-op is at least 9000 acres behind on N put down for corn and I know a number of us do our own. The corn jump is more exponential over here, but then a much smaller number to start with. What I look forward to seeing is how many will ultimately abandoned this super thick voluteer wheat infested planted fields. There could be alot more row crop, but doubtful corn, mebee sorghum. | |
