| For what its worth, here in SE OK we will start planting corn in a couple of weeks. Looks like total corn acres will be 95-100% of last year. Soft wheat may have picked up a few of last years corn acres. Soft wheat has captured soybean acres last year and this year also. Double crop beans, and beans on marginal ground will be popular. Even with the high cost of production, corn still offers the most profit. We feed Tyson and Pilgrim chickens here, and have a good basis. | |
