Red & White things are Brooder feeders (to 5 weeks of age).
Green disks are Ziggity water lines (again to 5 weeks of age)
Things in back are Lubing water lines (start to finish 12 weeks of age)
5 gallon buckets are supplemental starter feeders. Can't see the six other hand feeders that we hand feed for the first 6 days.
They should go through about 355 tons of feed in 12 weeks.
I used to manage the farm that I bought in 2005. The barns were built in 1996. I was instrumental in starting the Turkey operation in 1996. Chickens were not an option at the time as far as I know.
My friend/ neighbor runs a large dairy operation and also the same size Turkey operation as I have, so it can be done. I love the Turkey business, but I may be crazy.
