Subject: Nov '08 Bean Puts

If anyone has recently sold Nov '08 beans...

I think it is a no-brainer to buy some way out of the money puts.
Ex: $10 for around 20 cents. -- Very little risk -- Possibly high return
If the acres do surprise, and the weather does hold together, these could easily add another $1+ to sales before expiration. I am as bullish as the next guy, but I have done well over the years (stock market wise) by purchasing a position that opposes the current trend. The best involved shorting a few .com stocks during the late 90's boom. As I said earlier, everyone is getting too relaxed (myself included). This is usually when the surprise occurs. Remember how comfortably everyone was sleeping on December 7, 1941. Enough said.
