| I've never owned a bale ring but was never really impressed with what hay the cattle appear to waste. Maybe I'm missing something. I mostly unroll bales if possible unless they are so old and flat that they don't unroll. At any rate, if you feed only what the cattle will eat that day on a clean area if possible they don't waste that much IMO. I try to feed on a clean spot every day, even if it's right beside where I fed yesterday.
Can't answer your question about the DDG and/or cake feeder but I might someday put that on my list to Santa, along with an overhead bin LOL! | |
