I bought out of a soybean contract 20 years ago. The next day, the very next day, the markets turned around and locked limit down for a few days. By the time I figured my buyback price, I ended up getting over $1 less than my original contract. Not saying that will happen to you, but that was my experience. $4.07 is not bad at all. A lot better than my July wheat contracts and my first bean sale!
