We have a 1992 8340, decent tractor. ours is MFWD with cab, same tranny. shifters shake on the road, very annoying. we have had to do the hydraulic pump once, New Holland dealer says that they are problem pumps. I expect more juice out of ours, tillage work it seems to work too hard for the implements we pull . is the 7840 the six or four?
