NW Ohio | My brace posts are 8 foot away from the corner post. The brace wire goes from the top of the brace posts to the bottom of the corner post. There is also a 4 inch post that runs across the top "horizontal" of the brace posts to the corner post. This in theory is supposed to hold the corner post down. This horizontal post that runs across the top has a light "dropper" post that holds the top 3 wires on my 7 wire fence. I hired a local fencemaker to instal this fence for me. Looking more closely at the corners, I would have made them differently if to do it over again. | |
