Subject: Head in the sand on 09 and 10 bean sales?

Glasgow, Ky
Presently the advice of most seems to be that a farmer should not price any beans for 09 or 10 delivery. Presently, prices for that time period are in the $12 range. Is this a blanket position or is there a level where one should start giving multiple year sales serious consideration?

In years past I have had people who I considered shrewed marketers tell me about doing multiple year pricing on a consistent basis. That was when prices were much, much lower than they are today. Now that prices are very high does everyone just have their head in the sand when it comes to multiple year pricing?
