It wasn't a good point, it was a ridiculous point. The two are completely unrelated. Are you now asking that checkoff funds be utilized to hire private inspectors to ensure compliance with packing plant regulations? There is no regulation that I am aware of that would even allow a privately funded group access to the kill floor much less to inspect on a daily basis their operations. We have both worked in a packing plant. You know as well as I do that if someone showed up and announced that they were a hired by a private group to makes sure that the processing methods were appropriate and in compliance with the regulations governing operations they would be tossed out on their ear. The only inspector I am aware of that has right of access to the kill floor is the USDA inspectors.

Come on Rich, you can do better than this. If you are going to bait me, at least make it more of a plausible scenario!
