This is the type of thing the anti-livestock people really jump on.Where was the USDA?Everytime something happens like this they trot out the old underpaid,underfunded,overworked, BS.The USDA told me on the phone in Washington that they had to be impartial when I was asking them why they don't/won't support COOL,yet they go out and publicly push and advertise for premise registration and animal ID.I think they are about as worthless as can be.They pay a decent wage,inspectors are a federal grade employee,why the hell are'nt they doing their jobs?This kind of thing just kills us as livestock producers,puts us in a bad light,and feeds the vegetarian types agenda.Thanks USDA,keep up the good work.
