I've seen those advertised, but ya got me stumped on the hv101, I guess I don't know what that is. We used to shoot them with azamiacin under the eyelid, and sew the eye shut. I'm guessing basically the same deal as your doing. We have a heck of a time with pinkeye, some years, we clip pastures give the vaccines (which I personally think is water) I don't know the answer. I did have a person tell me that if you were introducing new animals to your herd every year, that you were going to be dragging in all the bugs in from where they came from. We don't retain heiffers/build numbers from within, we buy cows, so this could be some of our problem. I think the best thing is getting the calvs on a good creepfeed, spiked with a bunch of vit-A and Aureomiacin.
