North Cental Mo. | One thing that stuck out to me in the article, was the mention of the age of most of the cattle eing 5-7 years old. Now first you have to assume those are cows, and at that age are the heart of most herds. Unless they lost a calf, those cows don't go to market, that's a pretty healthy age for a bovine. What I'm getting at is just how many cattle of that age would have went down to justify the massive recall. Location of the plant may play into it.
