Not sure what models you are looking at. Like a 7-9 wheel or a V rake? Sitrex makes the H&S 7-9 wheel rakes but they each make their own V-rakes. I'm assuming that Hesston makes their own but it looks to me like Vermeer makes the Frontier rakes.

We have run Sitrex for quite a while now. Started out with two 6 wheel Vicons hooked together then went to Sitrex 9 wheel rakes. Now we run a Sitrex 16 wheel V rake and share it with a neighbor. No more running like a bat out of hell to keep in front of the balers. They work pretty good in all crops. Fine hay is not their best crop to work with, although keeping a steep angle on the rake will help.

I think we would seriously take a look at a new Vermeer WRX V-rake when we go to get rid of this one. It sure looks like a winner to us anyhow although I'm not sure what to think of their rake wheels.
