Actually UFS is not a bad deal if you buy alot of parts year to year. Although the $3500 upfront is a little steep, it does pay for itself eventually. We have ordered JD,Case-NH,Agco,SCH,Fleetguard, and many other brands as well. On the fertilizer side we have purchased the dry when the local supplier is out or cannot get to us. Otherwise, we always try to use the local fertilizer outfit and the JD and Case-NH dealers. We lost our Agco dealer 10yrs. ago, then we found ourselves traveling 145 miles (290 roundtrip)to the nearest dealer. So being able to pre-order and save anywhere from 20-40% has been very helpful especially when the dealer has to order it anyways. The only thing on the parts is you will need to have your parts books for whatever machines you are running in order to get the number right. Whereas the local dealer would know what you are talking about and might have it on the shelf. Anyways Good Luck! | |
