SE South Dakota | Well I just take some light oil and pour some in the intake of the blower while it is running and grease up any fittings on it. I also change the oil in the gearbox after harvest and check again before starting up as to find out if any moisture has gotten in the gearbox. For the airlock I do the same as I think it can lock up in a hurry if left dry. I have taken both units inside and I have left out for the year also. I prefer to put inside if it works out to.
As far as fastening down I don't and don't see why you would have to, as they are pretty heavy and should stay in one place. | |
