Pasco WA. | I recently bought a NH TS 100 to use as a rake tractor. Runs a set of NH 216 rakes. The rakes have a valve that has to be set for open or closed center. The TS runs the rakes but it takes about all the hydraulics it has. The engine has to be reved up otherwise it can't lift the baskets. My 35 year old JD 4230 has much better hydraulics. The bottom line is that open center can work but a closed center system is much better. | |
