WC SK | I'm looking at getting heavier into cattle. I want to have F1 females (either Angus X Sim, or Angus X Gelb) as the core of my heard. I want your opinions on what I should be breeding them to in order to make the most $$. Should I breed them back to Angus for a 3/4 Angus, 1/4 exotic cross, or should I breed them to a terminal sire like Charolais for better growth.
What is the market demanding right now? What's best in the long run? Any order buyers or feedlot operators out there?
