It's never happened to us, but I do know of a few having that misfortune. One fella had a steer like that & he lived, but was always limping quite some, but managed to get around. Instead of selling him for nothing, they butchered him for themselves. Aside from 1 foot being shorter then the other, everything else was fine, saw him myself too. But yeah, it's probably not a pretty sight to have around the yard. Probably out of a real good cow too, thats usually how it always goes. Did you consult your vet for any info? Hope your calf makes it.
