I rent a farm with a crude oil pipeline that was put in back in the early fifties and the pipe only has 9 inches (not a typo) of cover. Every year they say they will come out and flag it so we don't hit it with the chisel plows. I mentioned that they should lower it but that falls on deaf ears. I would no-till the farm but it is to wet.
