Ste. Rose, MB

Well thank-you Chet Z. Do you run a feedlot? There's lots of Manitoba cattle that go to Nebraska... we don't have any kill plants out here.

Yes they are Fleckvieh Simmentals, well except for the Red Homo Polled bull. We raise mainly Flecks & some Reds. Still quite popular in this part of the world. Have one customer in North Dakota that still uses Fullblood Simmies & has been very happy with them. Very easy keeping cattle, lots of milk & maternal charateristics. Big thing that people are really realizing now, especially with our crummy cattle prices: "they sell by the pound! More pounds = more $$$" And that is where these Flecks really shine, they will always press hard on the scale. They cross very well with any breed. We've been in the seedstock business for 64 years now, (grandpa started with Angus for 30 years) this is year #29 with the Simmentals & dad still says it was the best move they could have ever done was to be in this breed.

Pictured below was our high selling bull from our December sale. He sold over the phone to breeders in Quebec sight unseen.
