ND | I'll try and answer your questions.I'm seriously thinking about going back to about 4-5 char bulls. I run about 20-22 bulls a year, Probably keep 10 blacks, 5-6 red composites, and try some chars again.
I bought my shredder from Loren at H&L in glenboro. Good ol guy.I would like to find a new one with the big tank again, but he told me good luck.
Still quite a few char bulls used around here. I will put mine on mostly red cows and some blacks. I have thought about buying some cows up there but really don't want the paperwork headache. I would only buy ones were I can verify the feed sources also. That would be quite a pain.It is so dry here I am worried about pasture and hay for next year. We used to be able to buy hay from across the line, but with the cheap dollar stuff has gotten expensive. | |
