It would be a hard place to keep a ute/truck in straight shape without bull bars its not uncommon to hit roos and emus. if your serious about it though go for the type like on the white ute with the scrub bars up the side the problem with the one's that only have a front mount is that they can warp or tear out the mounts and end up pushing into the bonnet. don't know why you don't all have them there great for dealing with a stubborn beast and save a lot of pannel beating work.
