If we didn't have silos, we would be in the same boat as you (did I see a boat going up SR 11 yesterday? :) )
Seriously, I finished up first cutting back in June thanks to a good week in May and one good week in June (8500 bales). Unfortunately, I have only been able to bale 1000 bales of dry 2nd cut hay and 1000 of questionable hay. I did put up 12,000 bales of straw between the rains but it has been exhausting. I will have another 12,000 bales of straw to put up this week if the weather clears up. I might have to build a "wringer" to get some of it dry though :). | |
