| It is a black/ grey powder. I don't know it if it comes steel refinery or they use it in the making of steel,etc. I will have to ask the fert. guy today. They used to graphite mixed with liquid fert. and spray it on the snow. But the stuff we use goes thru the air truck or cart, I think it does a lot better job. They use it dry farms ,sometimes to burn the snow off of fall wheat to stop snow mold. One farmer used to have a snowcat here rigged to spread it. | |
