I've got an open yearling (coming 2) heifer that I'm feeding corn/DDG with my replacement heifer calves. I've had her in for a month or so on grain and intend to have her butchered in another month or so. Hopefully avoiding when she is in heat which I imagine could not bode well for the meat.

That's my intention, unless I end up selling her to pay my taxes LOL!
