You have a valid point in Aus in 2006 the bureau of meterology said we had a 50/50 chance of average rainfall and it was the worst drought in recorded history, they couldn't even tell us that it might be little bit on the dry side, we had 6in of our supposed 22in rainfall. In 2007 la nina was meant to save the day but didn't show up till after all the crops had died giving, the eastern states 2 right offs in a row. And when i say right offs neither year gave us 10% of "Normal" production in our area. I have friends further south who would in history have an average of 1t/ac and for the last 7 years have grown an average of 0.4t/ac. not that i want to see misery spread but could you guys take the big drought of 2008 and get 80% of your production so we can get a decent year and maybe some $20 wheat to make some ground back with our friendly bank managers.
