Subject: waste veg oil

I went and picked up some used cooking oil from the Legion club this morn. Experimenting with making biofuel (diesel) out of it. My dog was licking up every bit I spilled on the shop floor, that got me to thinking, why couldn't a person strain it and mix this in with cattle or hog feed to increase energy and control dust. It is just veg oil, and that has been used for years in livestock feed. Now there may be a little fat from chicken or other meat that was cooked in it, but this is meat that was fit for human consumption so mad cow or bacteria should not be an issue. Do you think there would be any safety concerns for the livestock or the people who eventually consume the beef or pork produced from the livestock?
