Subject: Additional data-----, and thanks for the replies........

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

Late yesterday we received the results of tissue samples on the beans. Extremely low in N, with minor deficiencies in other items.

Decided to put about 30+lbs of Chilean in the ground with the "slotter" we built this spring.......probably 6-8 inches from the row. We will include fish oil for carbon and phosphorous, the Chilean, plus a small quantity of trace elements.....putting the liquid in ground about 4-5 inches, running a slot about 10 inches.

We just received 3-5 inches of rain (depending on the field), so we should have a recharge that should help move the N.

We will then still foliar feed a little N and fish oil.......since we need to put on more bug control juice anyway. Question-------since the plants are 6--12inches tall, I am betting that the supplied N will not adversely affect the plant's abilities to obtain/formulate its own N........am I close to being right?
