| Yes. Without question, a producer should be allocating a percentage of sales into these markets, allowing for 1) yield reduction, just in case & 2) allowing for increased input costs. THIS THING WILL UNWIND. IT WILL BE PAINFUL. But, when it does, have some patience with the idea to buy some calls down the road when the smoke clears as I am sure we will yet kill the crop a couple of times (on paper). If it were me, I'd be selling some here & a little more into strength on a scale up - these are dangerous times & no one knows when this thing will turn. As I have said before, I can turn on a dime.....it is difficult for producers and costly. | |
