New crop KC '08 just went over $10 today and '09 trying to reach $9.50. Double what we had most of our paltry '07 production priced at, cause dang few of us had any to store to play market games with. If'n ya wanna be greedy, as AT calls us all here, then wait a bit more, and you may get less. Of any of the grains, I see wheat breaking first. it's grown in almost every country. Somewhere, someday, overnight, they will find a bunch of wheat that is in excellent condition, top end yield projections, and clip the sails off of the wheat boat. I am happy with selling in the upper third and sleep better not worrying about that last penny at the top. I think we are at a new higher plateau on prices now, but may not hold at this level too long. | |
