Ripley, Ontario Canada | That really is a pretty good deal considering. If they are willing to buy good fencing, consider yourself lucky. Buy the best wire you can. I rent a field next door and wanted to pasture cows on it. When I asked about fencing around their house they said what are you going to use. I said likely 3 strand electric. They said they wanted woven wire, and they would pay if I put it up. I bought the best 9 strand wire, a post every 15 feet and 4 stakes in between, (but this was also an area that gets a lot of snow). Then to make sure the cattle didn't reach through I ran a hot wire inside to protect their flowers, and they put wooden snow fence along it also. It should be a good fence. They even helped to put some of it up. Definitely good neighbours. | |
