| I really feel for you, I am right there with you, 2nd year in a row, no corn, beans dying and I sit here figuring out how far I can make it with the small amount of insurance money I'll be getting. Wife says just get a job over winter, I say yeah were down 200,000 bucks from normal, the 7 buck an hour job will be a great emotion lifter. These years go by too fast and the debt load isnt going down as it should. As I work on my 10 year old combine to get ready to make it last another year I wonder how long can we go. I wouldnt feel so bad, but last week I went to Peoria, Il and saw some of the best crops I've ever seen, in fact other than the wind damage, I drove 200 miles and never saw a bad field of corn. It just isnt fair when the rains don't come your way, believe me, I know how you feel. Well got to get back to my raggy ol combine- | |
