Eastern Ontario | Hence my online name. Most fields are tiled, laser leveled and ridged to get rid of the water. Don't know why people think that clay doesn't tile well. Only if you have a layer of silt in there somewhere is when the water doesn't want to get to the tiles fast enough. Our fields tile very well. 35 foot centers. Too bad that people didn't invest in tile, and instead bulldosed their fields round. Seems to me that there is a 50 % loss in round fields. Those fields make me mad.
