As Oliver indicated, the law was made to help the risk takers, credit card companies. If they would have made a law to help the card holders, to make it easyer to file bankruptcy - do you think you'd be getting offers in the mail for multipul CC's ? That new regulation / law was a crock - and  added to the credit problem in this county . . . . For me, either you have the ablity to pay off debt or you don't. CC companys shouldn't be soliciting offers to anyone without the abliltiy (their risk) to pay them back on a monthy basis. MO . . .
