Its doing the same thing here.Two weeks ago after being pretty dry for quite awhile we got 3.8" of rain in 3 different rains.The 100 degree heat and wind last week took every bit of it and now some of the corn is fired half way to the top.I thought it was pretty well made but the ears are also shrinking down and I have 2" of bare cob on some ears now.It will sure fool you until you start checking ears.No record yields here.

It will be mid 90's all week with a slight chance of rain towards the weekend.I sure hope that all of us needing rain get some.Weve been in an off and on drought here since 2000 and just cant seem to get caught up on moisture.
