Well, the test was done in 2005, so the 8030 series Deeres weren't even really around until the end of the year, and CNH didn't release their new series until.., what, Feburary of this year?
So, the test was done with current tractors at the time.
Although, why didn't they use a 8520 JD, instead of a 8420? Same goes with the use of a MT755B, and not a MT765B. Is because they wanted to stay with the similar HP ratings across the board I wonder.
Ron, if you don't mind me asking, why did you trade in the TG 255 for a 8420? It seemed you were happy with the TG when you had it. How do you feel the 8420 compares to the TG?
